Aset Bliev

Aset has 17 years of experience in building and implementing strategies for the protection of exclusive rights, including the protection of copyright and related rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is a practicing lawyer and represents the interests of right holders in courts and state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan; is a member of the working group on amendments to certain legislative acts on intellectual property issues of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, lectured on IP for students of the Ministry of Justice Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as students of the Academy of the Supreme Court.

  • Support of disposal of the exclusive rights to trademarks procedures in the CIS countries,
  • Preparation of agreements on the disposal of intellectual property rights,

Representing an international football organization in trademark cases against importers and sellers of counterfeit goods in 2018.

Representing the interests of a European automobile concern in inclusion into the customs register and protection of trademark rights against sellers and importers of counterfeit goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representing the interests of an American engineering company for the inclusion of trademarks in the customs register of Kazakhstan.

Support in trademark protection cases, development of a strategy for the protection of trademark rights, representation in court, relations with government agencies.
